The Working Group on General Management brings together the General Managers of SOMMa centres and units to address matters of common institutional interest and to promote excellence in the management of research organisations. The Group provides a forum for sharing experience, exploring collaborative solutions, and advancing best practices in areas such as governance, strategy, finance, operations, people management, infrastructure, organisational development, and the legal and regulatory framework governing public procurement, contracting, and administrative and fiscal compliance applicable to research centres in Spain. Through collective reflection and cooperation, the Group contributes to strengthening the effectiveness, sustainability, and long-term impact of SOMMa institutions.
