The Working Group on Project Management brings together the professionals responsible for coordinating the Severo Ochoa and María de Maeztu excellence accreditations within SOMMa centres and units. It serves as a platform for collaboration, peer learning and the continuous improvement of research management practices.
The group organises regular meetings to exchange experiences and address common challenges, and may also seek the AEI’s advice on questions about the overall framing of the call or on the accounting for the use of the grant funds. It also collaborates with the Spanish Research Managers Coordination Network (CORMES) to promote the recognition and development of the research management profession in Spain.
