Prof. Katherine Villa appointed as Early Career Board member of Nano Letters

Prof. Katherine Villa, ICIQ group leader, has been selected as an Early Career Board Member of Nano Letters, one of the most prominent journals in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

Published by the American Chemical Society (ACS), Nano Letters is a leading forum for original research across fundamental, applied, and emerging areas in nanoscience. The journal places a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary work, welcoming studies that bridge at least two distinct fields. Topics covered include quantum and nanophotonic materials, energy conversion and electrocatalysis, nano-electronic devices, nanomedicine, environmental nanotechnologies, and cutting-edge nanoscale characterisation techniques.

In her own words, Prof. Villa remarks: “Becoming part of the Nano Letters Early Career Board is a meaningful recognition of my research in nanoscience and a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the field’s leading journals. It allows me to take part in defining future scientific directions and support the next generation of scientists.”

Prof. Villa’s appointment underscores her scientific trajectory and highlights ICIQ’s strong presence in cutting-edge nanoscience research.
