Mid-infrared Spectroscopic Studies of Star-forming Galaxies with James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)

Application deadline:

+ Modeling of the Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) emission in galaxies as a function of the physical properties, radiation field and metallicity of the interstellar medium.
+ Development of simulated spectral energy distributions and emission line spectra in the 1 to 30 microns range covered by the NIRSpec and MIRI JWST instruments.
+ Development of tools for the analysis of integral field spectroscopy and its applications for the MIRI intermediate resolution spectrograph (MRS).
+ Preparation of observing proposals for large international facilities such as ALMA, VLT and JWST
+ Preparation of technical and scientific documentation including main Q1 journals, and oral presentations in international meetings and workshops.
+ Participation in public outreach activities related to JWST science and instruments.
