The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is looking for one Fieldworker to work on the INCHILDHEALTH project (Identifying Determinants for Indoor Air Quality and their Health Impact in Environments for Children: Measures to Improve Indoor Air Quality and Reduce Disease Burdens). INCHILDHEALTH has received funding from the European Commission (101056883) under the call HORIZON-HLTH-2021-ENVHLTH-02 “Indoor air quality and health”. Fieldworkers will have to coordinate the schedule of visits to the participating schools, visit the schools to install air quality measurement devices, and lead sessions with children in which cognitive tests will be administered to the participating children. In addition, they will be in charge of processing the data collected and creating reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration of questionnaires
- Install and maintain air quality devices at schools
- Schedule visits at schools
- Lead a session at the schools to administer cognitive tests
- Control and clean the data collected

- Experience in fieldwork of epidemiological studies will be an asset

- Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.
