Digital Autonomy with RISC-V in Europe (DARE) is a large-scale European Supercomputing project. DARE aims to develop prototype HPC and AI systems based on EU-designed and developed industry-standard chiplets, using the latest silicon technology nodes to achieve the highest performance and energy efficiency.
This 3-year, 38 partners initiative, with a budget of €240 million and supported by EuroHPC, will develop a complete supercomputing compute stack, featuring high-performance and energy-efficient processors designed and developed in Europe. DARE project is the first phase of an HPC-specific European Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) program with a span of 6+ years.
Description:
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) leads the DARE project and is offering 53 engineering positions at all levels of the compute stack.
