The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is looking for a Junior HR Controlling & Analytics Officer to support personnel cost planning, HR analytics, and data management. Reporting to the Senior HR Controlling & Analytics Officer, this position offers a great opportunity for an entry-level professional to develop expertise in HR data analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The selected candidate will contribute to improving HR processes and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Duties
HR Controlling Support: Assist in personnel cost planning, payroll cost review, and HR budget monitoring.
Assist in planning and managing the budget allocated for different scientific research groups, in collaboration with the Finance Projects team.
People Analytics and Reporting: Support in tracking HR KPIs, preparing reports and dashboards, and providing data insights.
Maintain official personnel statistics, manage affiliated personnel records, and update organization charts.
Work closely with the Senior HR Controlling & Analytics Officer, and collaborate with other units within the HR team (Personnel Administration, Health & Safety, EDI and Talent).
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Education
University degree in Business administration, Economics, Management, Labour Relations, or a related field.
A clear motivation towards the HR field.
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
0 to 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in Human Resources, Controlling, or Budgeting.
Strong motivation and interest in developing a career in Human Resources, particularly in HR Controlling and People Analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication (Spanish, Catalan and English).
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.).
Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
Interest or experience in HR analytics, finance, or reporting is an asset.
Knowledge of SAP or similar HR systems is a plus.
Experience in an international or research environment will be valued.
Other experiences in en HR department will be valued (internship as well).
