The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) is offering a two-year contract position as a Junior Project Officer within the EU Office of the Strategy and Impacts Unit at IDAEA-CSIC. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research by assisting with managing granted projects and proposal preparation.

The selected person will support project management activities for granted proposals, implement project management tools to improve efficiency and compliance, and assist with preparing funding proposals, among other tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in European Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A specialization in project management (MSc, postgraduate studies, or similar) is preferred.
Some relevant experience in project management, proposal preparation, or working with European funding programs is beneficial.

Working conditions

Contract duration: 2 years, with the potential for extension based on performance and achievements in knowledge transfer initiatives
Estimated annual gross salary: 30,000 – 32,000€, commensurate with qualifications and experience
Target start date: February-March 2025
