Research Grant Manager (Preaward and Proposal Management )
Context And Mission
We are looking for a candidate to join BSC’s Project Management Office (PMO) to manage and coordinate tasks related to the preparation, submission, and support of research proposals, as well as oversee pre-award processes and associated activities. The role will focus on identifying and communicating funding opportunities, organizing proposal-related resources, and coordinating training sessions. The successful candidate will also maintain a call calendar, develop guidance documents (e.g., Proposers Guide), and prepare standardized BSC descriptions for proposals. This position plays a critical role in supporting researchers throughout the proposal lifecycle and ensuring the smooth execution of pre-award processes.
Key Duties
Pre-award Coordination: Identify and manage all tasks related to pre-award processes. Support researchers and teams in preparing project proposals and ensuring alignment with funding agency requirements.
Detecting and Communicating Opportunities: Proactively identify funding opportunities relevant to the organization. Disseminate this information effectively to relevant teams and individuals to maximize participation.
Internet Corner: Develop and maintain an online repository or hub to centralize proposal-related resources, templates, and updates.
Call Calendar Management: Create and maintain a calendar for funding calls and submission deadlines. Ensure timely reminders and updates are provided to project stakeholders.
Training Coordination: Organize and oversee training sessions, including onboarding training for new team members and specialized workshops for proposal development.
Proposal Guidance: Prepare and maintain detailed guides, such as a “Proposers Guide,” to assist researchers in creating high-quality proposals
BSC Description for Proposals: Draft and maintain standardized descriptions of BSC’s mission, vision, and research capabilities tailored for use in proposals.
