Technical Officer for the Drug Screening Platform (ref. CF/24/02)

IRB Barcelona seeks a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join the Drug Screening Platform at IRB Barcelona.

At IRB Barcelona, we have set up a screening platform with state-of-the-art technology, which allows HTS and provides support for Hit to Lead and Lead Optimisation projects in an efficient and automated way.

At the Drug Screening Platform (DSP), we support Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery projects. Our expert team provides tailored experimental support for a wide range of targets and technologies during the Candidate Discovery phase, from High-Throughput Screening (HTS) to Lead Optimisation.

Currently, we are expanding our facility in order to support the scientific community and move the science a step forward to the discovery of new medicines.

This contract is financed by the project "Drug-screening platform and drug-target interaction analyses", within the framework of the Complementary Plan for Biotechnology Applied to Health. From the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Funded by the EU - Next Generation EU, by which establishes a European Union Recovery Instrument to support the recovery after the COVID-19 crisis.
