A study, led by the CBGP research groups of ‘Host adaptation in fungal plant pathogens’ and ‘Plant immunity triggered by cell wall-derived glycans’, reveals a molecular mechanism of the fungus Zymoseptoria tritici that allows the pathogen to not activate the wheat immune response.
