A study reveals two radio emission modes in quasars with extreme accretion

The study, co-led by the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC), demonstrates that extreme accretion does not prevent the formation of jets and reveals that radio emission can also originate from star formation. The results, published in Astronomy & Astrophysics, provide new insights for the study of the early universe.
