Andromeda XXXVI, one of the faintest dwarf galaxies identified around Andromeda, has been discovered.

The Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC) has led the discovery of And XXXVI, a new ultra-faint dwarf galaxy in the vicinity of Andromeda (M31), the large neighboring galaxy of the Milky Way. The analysis of its stars suggests that And XXXVI is part of the system of satellite galaxies orbiting around M31.
