Electrolytes: The Invisible Key to our Energy Future

Scientists from ICN2, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology have analysed how the electrolytelong considered a secondary player in electrochemical reactionsplays a decisive role in processes such as green hydrogen production and the transformation of CO₂ into useful products. The study paves the way for more efficient production of renewable fuels and green chemicals to drive the energy transition.
