Cosimo Nigro joins the UAB Physics Department Faculty

IFAE gamma-ray astronomy researcher Cosimo Nigro has joined the UAB Physics Department Faculty as Lecturer (Professor Lector) in the High Energy Physics Unit (Unitat de Física d’Altes Energies). Cosimo had already been teaching in the Department as a Teaching Associate (Professor Associat) during his postdoctoral stay at IFAE.

Kick-off of ACME, an EU-funded project built by and for the astroparticle and the astronomy communities

On the 16th and 17th of September was held in Paris the kick-off meeting for the Astrophysics Centre for Multimessenger studies in Europe – ACME. IFAE and PIC participate leading the improvement of transnational access to the MAGIC telescopes.
