The IFAE’s spin-off Deep Detection has secured the investment from specialist photonics VC Vigo Ventures, Clave Capital, ESOM, and public financing. Founded in July 2020, Deep Detection is preparing to launch its first product, PhotonAI, an X-ray camera with deep learning capabilities.

The PIC team is running tests for the ESCAPE DAC21 to evaluate the solutions proposed for the construction of the project’s Data Lake and Science Analysis Platform. The results will be published as part of the ESCAPE project output.

Members of the QCT group at IFAE visited the Canfranc underground laboratory last week to perform the installation of cryogenic cabling in the dilution refrigerator of the CROSS experiment.
