100xCiencia.5, the successor to last edition’s 100xCiencia.4 in 2019, is almost here. The subject of this year’s event will underscore the importance of the international dimension of science.
The Instituto Galego de Física de Altas Enerxías (IGFAE), joint center of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and the Xunta de Galicia, will co-organize this meeting together with SOMMa, the ‘Severo Ochoa’ Centres and ‘María de Maeztu’ Units of Excellence Alliance.
The 100xScience.5 meeting is aimed at highlighting the importance of international collaboration in science as a key element to face the global challenges of the future. The COVID-19 health crisis has evidenced the need and urgency for the entire scientific community, industry, governments and society to cooperate to solve problems, particularly when they affect the whole of humanity.
The meeting is structured into four main thematic areas, Cosmos, Health, Climate Crisis and Scientific Culture.
100xCiencia.5 will take place in Santiago de Compostela, 26-27 November 2021.
