Who we are looking for:
An Innovation & Technology Transfer Head to strengthen the institute’s capacity to generate early-stage impact, foster an innovation-oriented culture, and support researchers in identifying the potential of their technologies from the very beginning of the research-to-impact pipeline.
What you will do:
 Support early-stage innovation and proof-of-concept initiatives
o Assist in the creation and structuring of proof-of-concept projects
o Identify potential end users, industrial partners, and relevant market trends
o Work closely with research teams to detect early commercial or application potential
o Identify potentially patentable ideas at a conceptual level, including preliminary prior art checks to assess novelty and patentability

 Build and promote an impact-driven culture across the institute
o Organize internal and external talks on economic impact creation and its stages
o Promote best practices in innovation and knowledge transfer
o Coordinate an internal Impact and Innovation Forum
o Organize an annual external Innovation Day
o Provide introductory training on innovation and impact for PhD students

 Strengthen institutional engagement with the innovation ecosystem
o Facilitate connections between researchers and potential stakeholders
o Support the visibility of IMB-CNM technologies and capabilities
o Contribute to strategic initiatives that reinforce the institute’s innovation mission
o Map and monitor relevant innovation networks, funding opportunities, and strategic alliances at regional, national, and European level
