Job Opening at IRB Barcelona for a Junior Group Leader in ageing-associated diseases (ref. GL/23/01)

IRB Barcelona invites applications from outstanding young investigators in the field of ageing-associated diseases for a tenure track junior Group Leader position.

The successful candidate will be expected to tackle—both from the clinical and fundamental research perspectives—ageing-associated pathologies. They will join a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative institution that is strong in research into cancer/metastasis, ageing and cell reprogramming, metabolism, cell differentiation, signal transduction, and gene expression regulation. The laboratories hosted by IRB Barcelona have a broad high-impact publication track in the aforementioned topics.

The successful candidate will be provided with laboratory space, a generous start-up package, running costs and access to state-of-the-art
facilities (listed at irbbarcelona.org). In addition, they will be able to take part in IRB Barcelona’s Mentoring Programme for new Group Leaders.
