María de Maeztu Visiting Young Researchers Program

International internships for visiting young researchers.

The IMB-CNM-CSIC, recognized as a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence, is pleased to announce the launch of the María de Maeztu Visiting Young Research Program. This initiative offers up to 12 visiting fellowships of €3,000 each to attract outstanding young international researchers eager to engage in cutting-edge micro- and nanotechnology research. Fellows will join one of four thematic research axes: Micro and Nanosystems for Health and Environment, Energy and Mobility, Physics Frontiers and Civil Security, or Technology and Advanced Processes for Micro/Nanosystems. Designed to introduce emerging scientists to the IMB-CNM’s technology-intensive environment, the program fosters collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and high-level training. Participants will undertake short research stays of 1 to 3 months, gaining hands-on experience and strengthening their scientific and professional skills through active involvement in IMB-CNM’s innovative research projects.

The program seeks to introduce young scientists to the technology-intensive research environment of the IMB-CNM and to promote collaborative projects with its researchers. Fellows will receive high-level training and will participate in an interdisciplinary and stimulating environment focused on the development and application of micro- and nanotechnologies.

Participants will gain valuable research experience, strengthen their scientific skills, and enhance their career prospects through active collaboration with IMB-CNM research groups.
