Intera S.L. looks for providing the best solutions for the mitigation of radon, a gas that in high concentrations can create health problems for users of those buildings. Intera (Innovaciones Tecnológicas del Radón) is a company with a technological foundation (EBT) that offers solutions for the measurement and mitigatin of radon gas inside buildings, either residential or public. Intera has at its disposal the most advanced techniques and sophisticated equipment of ionizing radiation for the detection of this gas, being hence capable of proposing ideal solutions for each case.
The University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), with the aim of enabling the transference of results of its research and translating it into knowledge for society, is the main shareholder of this project. Intera rises from the alliance of Radonlab, the Service of Measurement and Mitigation of Radon Gas of the USC, and the construction engineering company Inous to rpovide global solutions to the concentration of the radioactive gas radón in buildings. Intera also has the participation of the Laboratory for the Analysis of Radiation of the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, with an experiences research team led by the Professor of the Physics Faculty Dolores Cortina, president of the Specialised Group in Nuclear Physics of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics (RSEF).
