Telomere Therapeutics was founded in 2020. The company is a spin-off of the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre and the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Telomere Therapeutics develops gene therapy based on telomerase gene expression (TERT) intended to treat age-related diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis.
